The project is located at the central downtown of GuangZhou City, a vibrant place with eclectic mix of people. As China is developing, growing and changing every mintue; people is hardly staying in touch with the culture that has existed for decades. the concept of the project is to bring back the traditional cantonese opera into the city in a contemporary way. The Design uses high tech stage system to wider not only the view of the audience, but also the performing spaces. the design brings cantonese opera into the city and at the same time attracts city walker into the building; where stages can be opened towards the city and on the other hand plazas and skygardens pull people or opera lovers into the building itself.
