Design Competition – 3rd Place

This competition entry brings architecture and music together into a unified beauty. A simple massing is proposed with the auditorium in smooth dynamic form enclosed within a tilted, semi transparent rectangular box, lifted up from ground at its major corner facing main road junction. Audience will enter the ‘box’ from below, ascending into the atrium lobby – a layered space with a multitude of rhythms and geometries dancing together like in a music symphony. The auditorium interior is designed with this same spirit with terraced seatings as connected and overlapping layers and echoes with the acoustic panels in ceiling.
