A shared office is needed for multiple types of tenants including physiotherapy room, band practice room, voice recording room, lecture room, office desks, and a meeting room plus pantry space.  The site is a single storey space and it is necessary to create an attic space to satisfy the requirements.

Sound isolation is critical between the band practice room, voice recording room and the rest of the space as well as the building structure to avoid disturbing others in the unit as well as other units.  So an isolated box was created with rubber sheet below flooring and structural separation of the upper floor of the box from the other spaces.

AA provided space planning and structural design service and the client did his own interior finishing.
