Design Competition 1st Runner Up

Project is located in Shenzhen Bao An district, where an existing sports center is found at south of site with big outdoor sports venues. A series of sports facilities is therefore proposed to complement the existing sports center, including basketball court, badminton and ping pung courts, squash courts, gymnasium, and practice rooms for kudo and boxing etc. Planning design emphasizes on the uninterrupted connections to the south as well as responding to the surrounding landscape and context. The sports complex is designed as terraced forms with green roofs to create an nice outdoor walking experience throughout the different levels of gardens.
